The Ahwatukee Marshalls Store officially opened it doors yesterday October 17, 2013.

Serving popcorn and on going raffles, the store was packed with shoppers, both veteran Marshalls shoppers such as myself and newbies.
The new store is located on the southwest corner of Ray Road and 48th Street.
It is located in the Ahwatukee Foothills Towne Center, which also houses Sprouts, The RoomStore and Party City in Ahwatukee.

That Shopping Center has seen some new activity in the past few weeks with Michaels opening a new store in the Center.
What is a Marshalls Store?
Marshalls is a chain of stores owned by TJX Companies. TJX Companies also own TJ Maxx, Homegoods and AJ Wright stores.
There is another Marshalls store located in Phoenix on Camelback, which has a Big and Tall Section.
The Ahwatukee Marshalls location is quite a good addition and increases the variety for Ahwatukee residents when it comes to shopping.
Previously shopping at Marshalls involved getting out of Ahwatukee to Tempe, Gilbert or Phoenix.
